Membership
Many who come to FirstSarasota to a worship service or other ministry soon realize that they would like to make a deeper commitment to Jesus Christ, to His church and to a specific portion of His ministry. We've provided more information via the following links to help you in these life-altering decisions.
How do I become a Christian?
Those who chose to unite with FirstSarasota as members should understand that we ask the following of our membership.
• Regular presence in weekly worship services.
• Join one of our small groups that meet on Sunday and throughout the week. These small groups enhance our understanding and knowledge of the Bible and provide the fellowship we all need to have a sense of belonging.
• As opportunity presents itself, participate in one of our short-term missions to Sarasota, the state of Florida, the greater United States or a foreign country.
• Support this ministry with regular and sacrificial gifts of time, talents and treasure. God has only one plan to support His church and that is through the sacrificial gifts of His people.
