Women's Ministries
The women of First Sarasota are dedicated to worshiping and serving the Lord. We support one another and share in our joys and sorrows.
We invite you to join us for worship, Bible study, special events and activities, and even volunteer if you can!
Bible Studies:
Sunday
A wide variety of Bible study groups meet on Sunday mornings, either at 9:00 am or 10:30 am, including one for women only in the 9:00 hour.
Tuesday
We also have Bible study groups for women on Tuesday or Wednesday mornings during certain times of the year.
Events & Groups:
Ladies' Bible Study: The Ladies' Bible Study will be meeting once more each Tuesday, starting March 24, 2009, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. The study will be Beth Moore's "A Woman's Heart: God's Dwelling Place" and will run for a total of ten weeks. The ladies will meet in the Ministry Annex. If you would like to sign up, please call the church office at 941-365-2846 or Mary Ellen Shrode at 941-378-1092.
Women on Mission meet on the second Tuesday of each month, from 11am to 1:15 pm in the Chapel. You don't have to be a member of FirstSarasota to join us. The cost for the lunch is $3.00. If you bring a friend and they are visiting for the first time, their lunch is free. If you have not been contacted by the phone committee, please contact the church office at 365-2846 by noon on the Monday before the next meeting. Reservations are requested.
