Student Ministries
We've designed a student ministry where you grow spiritually and at the same time have fun! We want to personally invite you to one of our upcoming activities or events. Here are a few ways to get involved:
WEEKLY PROGRAMS
LIFE GROUPS, our small group Bible study program, is a solution to the "bigness" of our culture and a great way to connect with other Christian students who are trying to grow in their relationship with God. LIFE GROUPS meet every Sunday morning at 10:30 am on the second floor of the chapel building. There are classes for Middle School, High School and College age.
Off Campus (Sunday Nights) is a laid-back time for students to hang out with friends. Each week is different and includes wild games, videos, skits, bowling, miniature golf, going to the beach, great food, and a message that is just right for students. This event takes place most weeks on Sunday evenings from 6:00-8:00 pm, check the student website or call the church office to find out the specifics about this week's off campus.
Mark's Feed Store meets every Wednesday at 6:00 pm till approximately 7:30pm in our chapel building. It is a place where many students from all over the Manasota area gather to celebrate life through laughter, friendship, music, and food. After food, games and worship, MS, HS and College age small groups break off into their own study time with relevant lessons for each age group.
Free HS Taco Thursday meets every Thursday,during the school year, at 2:30pm at Taco Bell on 41 by Sarasota High. Come for free tacos, free fellowship and sometimes free drinks.
Free College Taco Wednesday & Thursday Meets every Wednesday and Thursday in the cafeteria at State College of Florida (aka MCC) for all local college students. Times vary according to class schedules. Call Mark @ 365-2846 to find out the time on the day that best meets your schedule.
